Apartment was an artist led project and exhibition space in a one-bedroom council flat in a sixties tower block in central Manchester. Artists showed work alongside the everyday objects in the flat and made work in response to issues surrounding the location of the space. The space was co-run by artists Hilary Jack and Paul Harfleet; the current resident, who continued to live in the flat alongside the activity that occured. The space ran from 2004-2009, Thanks to all those that visited!!

Okay. What does that have to do with ANYTHING? Taken off the wall, the papers don't represent anything but... paper. Flat, lifeless trash, taken away from its purpose and shoved into a binder.
